Wild Style T-Shirt

1982 film that documents the rise of the hip-hop movement and South Bronx street culture, featuring graffiti, breaking, rapping and DJing. Shot in a low-budget documentary style, the story follows Zoro (Lee Quiñones) as a New York City graffiti artist, and includes appearances by early 80's pioneers such as Grandmaster Flash, Ad-Rock and Rock Steady Crew. The film was shot on location in the South Bronx and on the Lower East Side and is renowned for its soundtrack, with musical contributions by Chris Stein of Blondie, and Fab 5 Freddy.
