Psychic TV (also known as PTV) was an influential English experimental art and music collective, formed in 1981 by Genesis P-Orridge and Alex Fergusson, following the dissolution of the band Throbbing Gristle. Early work combined industrial and electronic sounds, which evolved into post-punk and psychedelic rock. PTV were at the forefront of the acid house scene of the late 80's with the release of 'Acid Tablets Volume One,' and 'Tekno Acid Beat.'
