UFO T-Shirt

British science fiction TV show created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Released in 1970, the 26-episode series follows SHADO (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defence Organisation), defending Earth from aliens. Known for it's stylish costumes, purple-wigged Moonbase staff, and high-tech, futuristic gadgetry, the show developed a strong cult following. A second series was planned, initially entitled UFO 1999, but this became Space: 1999, and was released in 1975 with a different cast.
