TAD T-Shirt
American rock band from Seattle, formed in 1988 by former butcher, Tad Doyle. As pioneers of the early grunge scene, they were known for their heavy, sludge-metal sound, influenced by bands such as 'Head of David' and 'Killdozer.' The band faced legal issues, including a lawsuit from Pepsi-Cola for the 'Jack Pepsi' single logo, and their record label 'Giant Records' axed them after a promotional poster for 'Inhaler' featured a photo of Bill Clinton smoking a joint. After the band dissolved in 1999, Tad Doyle went on to form other projects, including Hog Molly and Brothers of the Sonic Cloth.
