Surfin' Bird T-Shirt

Song performed by the 60's surf rock band The Trashmen, containing the repetitive lyric 'the bird is the word'. It's a combination of two separate songs by The Rivingtons, 'Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow' & 'The Bird's the Word'. Used in many films, including Pink Flamingos, Full Metal Jacket and The Big Year, the song is also a recurring joke in the animated TV show Family Guy, as it's Peter Griffin's favourite song from childhood.
