Strawberries Records & Tapes T-Shirt

Founded in 1972 by notorious New York businessman Morris Levy, Strawberries became one of the top 10 music store chains in the US with over 80 locations. In 1988, Levy, with reputed ties to mob figures, was convicted of extortion in Federal court and sentenced to 10 years in prison. At its peak in the 80's, Strawberries attracted recording artists like Blondie, Bruce Springsteen and Kiss to make in-store appearances, signing autographs and meeting with fans.
