Salsoul T-Shirt

New York-based record label which became a dominant force in disco, funk, and Latin-infused dance music during the late 70's and early 80's. It pioneered the 12-inch single format with Double Exposure's "Ten Percent" and is known for its orchestral sound, featuring the in-house Salsoul Orchestra. As a premier label for disco, its catalog was heavily sampled and influential in the development of house and modern dance music.
