Professional ice hockey team from Quebec City, Canada, who played in various leagues including the American Hockey League until 1971. Founded in 1928 by Anglo-Canadian Pulp and Paper Mills, the name Aces used as an acronym of 'Anglo Canadian Employees'. The Aces were Quebec Hockey League champions twice in the 1950's and played in the AHL from '59 to '71, when the team relocated to Virginia, becoming the Richmond Robins.
