Paul's Boutique T-Shirt

Second studio album released in 1989 by the Beastie Boys. It features over 100 multi-layered music samples, from artists including The Beatles and Johnny Cash, which would be difficult to clear under modern copyright laws. The album is named after a fictional store at the corner of Ludlow and Rivington Streets in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where the band hung a fake 'Paul's Boutique' sign over a real shop called 'Lee's Sportswear.' This intersection was renamed Beastie Boys Square in 2023.
