The New FADS were an influential Manchester-based indie rock band, active between 1988 and 1995. They merged dance beats with post-punk, funk, and dub, creating a distinctive groove-heavy sound. They released three main albums: Pigeonhole (1990), Body Exit Mind (1992), and Love It All (1994). They were known for a strong live reputation, touring extensively in the UK, Europe, and the US, and were favorites of radio DJ John Peel.
