Introduced in the 1970's by Mansfield Brewery, Marksman Lager went on to win aΒ host of international brewing awards in the 1980's and was a favourite thirst-quencher around the midlands and northern England. In 1999, the brewery was taken over byΒ Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries, leading to the termination of Marksman Lager production.Β
