Habana Leones T-Shirt

Founded in 1878, the Havana Lions were the most successful team in the original Cuban Baseball League. Featuring a host of overseas players, the Lions won a record 30 league championships and shared a famous rivalry with Almendares. Following the Cuban revolution of 1959, the government abolished professional baseball, and many of the players became exiles in the USA when the league closed in 1961.
