Popular, fruit-flavoured soft drink in the UK from the 1970's to the 1990's. Famous for its unique creamy texture and advertising campaign which featured a cool, sunglasses-wearing cartoon polar bear and his catchphrase "It's frothy, man!" Produced by Schweppes, it came in flavours such as orange, lemon & lime, pineapple, strawberry and cream soda, and offered a smoother, creamier mouthfeel than typical soft drinks. It was initially marketed as a health drink for adults but was successfully repositioned for children with it's memorable ads which evoke widespread nostalgia more than 40 years later.
