Capitol Theatre T-Shirt

Located in Passaic, New Jersey, The Capitol Theatre was an entertainment venue, where dozens of bands, including U2, The Rolling Stones, Prince and Metallica played concerts during the '70s and '80s. Opened in 1921 as a vaudeville house, it became the Capitol Cinema in the '60s, then transformed into a 3,200 capacity live music arena. After it closed, the building fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1991. A shopping center known as Capitol Plaza now occupies the site.
