AirCal T-Shirt

Airline headquartered in Newport Beach, California that started in 1967 as Air California. In 1967 the company expanded it's operations, with new routes across the western U.S. and into Canada. In 1981 the airline was rebranded as AirCal and in 1987, AirCal was acquired by American Airlines for $225 million, and expanded it's fleet with aircraft like the Boeing 737-300. The airline's home airport was Orange County Airport, now known as John Wayne Airport.
