Air Congo T-Shirt

Following independence from Belgium in 1960, the Republic of the Congo formed a national airline 'Air Congo' June 1961. The first international destinations were to African cities Entebbe, Luanda & Nairobi, with flights to Europe added two years later. On 27 October 1971, the country changed its name to the Republic of Zaire, and Air Congo became Air Zaïre.
